Adults-Only Molten Cake (Crockpot)

Ingredients
Cake
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup margarine or 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1⁄4 cup Tia Maria (or other coffee liqueur)
- 1⁄4 cup sliced almonds
Sauce
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup Tia Maria (or other coffee liqueur)
- 1⁄2 cup hot water (not boiling)
Directions
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream the 1/2 cup of sugar and margarine. Stir in the flour mixture and 1/4 cup Tia Maria; fold in almonds.
- Spread into a lightly greased 1.4 liter Crockpot.
- Combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, the 1/4 cup of Tia Maria, and the hot water; stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Gently pour over cake batter.
- Cook on high for 1-1/2 to 2 hours (until a toothpick comes out clean), depending on your Crockpot.
