Ada Perez Pralines

Got this from my Aunt who is known for her yummy pralines.This is the recipe she uses and there are never enough to go around!!!

• Serves: 1

Ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 cups white sugar
• 1⁄2 cup light brown sugar
• 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 cup evaporated milk
• 1  cup pecans, chopped
• 1⁄4 teaspoon vanilla
• 1⁄4 cup butter

Directions

1. Combine sugars,salt and milk.
2. Cook until soft ball stage on a candy thermometer.
3. Add pecans.
4. Remove from fire and add vanilla and butter.
5. Beat until stiff;drop on wax paper let sit until set and then enjoy.
