Abby's Garlic-Onion Pepper Blend

I love pepper and I tend to use alot in my cooking!!!! My girlfriend found this gourmet pepper blend and payed big $ for it!! I went home and got inspired and came up with this blend, using my Magic Bullet to grind the spices. I found the perfect "salt and pepper pig" to hold my blend, so when cooking, one good pinch of pepper equals about 1/4 tsp. I feel cool like Emeril..throwing my salt and pepper into the dish...(only I don't use as much salt as he does!!! lol!!) Show more

Directions

  1. In a spice grinder or Magic Bullet, ground the black peppercorns first until it reaches the consistency of a course grind (shaking the bullet around so that it remains a consistent grind -- try not to make it too fine).
  2. Add the white peppercorns, garlic flakes and onion flakes and grind.
  3. Note: I leave my pepper in a medium grind -- removing (or crushing) any whole pepper that did not get incorporated.
