A Perfect Pecan Pie

Ingredients
- 9 inches pie shells
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1⁄2 cup dark corn syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Place the pie crust on a cookie sheet (for easier transporting to the oven).
- Pour the pecan halves into the pie crust.
- In a bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- Pour over the pecans.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Lower the temperature to 350 degrees and bake for another 25 minutes, or until pie is set.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream!
