A-C School Butter Cream Frosting

Ingredients
- 2 lbs powdered sugar or 7 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1⁄3 cups Crisco
- 1⁄2 cup hot water
- 1 teaspoon almond flavoring
- 1⁄2 teaspoon clear vanilla
Directions
- Beat together 7 - 10 minutes.
- May add 1 tablespoon meringue powder per pound of powder sugar; this helps stablize the icing.
