I am a mom of 3 wild and rambunctious boys and one little princess and I love to cook for my family. My great-grandparents owned the only restaurant in their little Cajun town of Westwego (by New Orleans) and my grandmother didn't even speak English until she went to school. I have 4 years of a Ph.D. in molecular biology and I didn't start cooking until about 10 years ago when my husband pointed out that if I could follow instructions in a laboratory, then I could certainly follow a recipe! He was right!
