Avid "foodie" & collector/creator of recipes since 1970s. Mother was a cordon-bleu & wonderful teacher. From her I learned the basics & more: vinaigrettes, sauces, soups/potages, soufflés, tartes, brioche, breads, pâte à chou, & many classic plâts français... after Mom, Child & Beard were biggest source of culinary inspiration.
