I live in Simferopol, Crimea (Autonomous Republic), UKRAINE I used to have much more time for cooking. Now I mainly prepare food for our synagogue, holidays, and special events. At one time I had a bakery in North Miami Beach. My cooking triumphs: Once I made a wedding cake for a vegetarian. The layers were something like carrot and walnut, with buttercream frosting, and it came out terrific. My favorite dessert is Boccone dolci. My cooking tragedies: Occasionally I'm so involved in my work I forget something till it burns!
