I am so excited to be on a Maternity Leave this year, to spend time with my adorable daughter Criseyde and of course, try new recipes for when my husband gets home from work! We live in the Far North, so once winter hits, most of our ingredients are canned and frozen. WE sometimes splurge and order up fresh produce from Yellowknife, our closest city, but it is also fun to be creative with what is in the cupboard and freezer. Along with cooking, I love to run, knit and read.
