I'm from Cincinnati, OH and I've lived here all my life. I am maried to a wonderful man of 19 years and we have 5 children and 6 handsome grandsons and 1 gorgeous, beautiful precious granddaughter. I work full time as an Administrative Assistant and I love it. I'm the only staff member and they spoil me rotten....LOL!!! My hobbies are cooking of course, reading, shopping, collecting and reading cookbooks, and spending time with my family. I have loved to cook ever since I was a teenager. I am not a creative cook therefore I LOVE trying recipes from others but one of these days I will try being creative. I normally store my recipes on my computer but I'm glad I found Recipezaar to make my own cookbooks and keep them organized. In this stage of my life I'm more interested in healthy cooking. I've lost 40 pounds and still have more to go but I'm enjoying the healthier recipes. I have been eating more fresh fruits and vegaetables, and I seriously watch my sodium intake. I don't buy canned goods or processed foods much unless it's low sodium or no salt added so I'm definitely interested in ALOT of low sodium recipes. But I will occasionally eat foods that are considered "not so healthy" but I will learn to work those into my lifestyle change.
