A creative person who explores every angle of every person, place or thing. Cooking is a natural, artistic, outlet which I enjoy thoroughly. I have made a career out of corporate writing and hope one day to make the same footnote on fiction. Before then, however, I would like to learn more about cooks, their recipes and their passions. Glad to have found RecipeZarr. Pet Peeve? With regard to cooking, I crack-up when reading a negative recipe review where the reviewer has completely changed the recipe and is upset that their ingredients went to waste! For instance, when a recipe calls for spices or peppers and the reviewer says they were left out, cut back, but not replaced. They usually complain the recipe was bland. Really??? Or, if the recipe calls for a can of cream of whatever soup--the reviewer will complain that the recipe is just another bland, cream of whatever casserole. Duh!!! If you don't like spice, or you're fed up with cream of whatever casseroles, then take a pass on the recipe. Don't take out your frustrations on the cook! He or she has put a lot of time and consideration into their submission and criticism should be fair, not biased.
