I am a part time children's dance instructor and house wife. After purchasing my first home 2 years ago, I started taking up herb gardening and cooking since I finally had the nice yard for gardening and a kitchen big enough to cook in. I've been loving it! I love growing my own herbs and veggies and then using them to make dinner for my family. It is very satisfying. With my dance work and recent weight loss goals, I've been on a big health kick. I'm trying to exercise more and change the type of foods I eat on a regular basis. No fad diets, but a lifestyle change. I'm always looking for new recipes to keep my weekly meals from getting stodgy and to keep my taste buds satisfied. I love my standard comfort foods, but I have got to have variety. My husband loves when I try new meals too. I'm always on the lookout to find new ways to get more vegetables and fruits in our diet.
