I wasn't raised to cook, in fact the opposite as my mum wasn't into cooking it was just a chore to her. If it wasn't for school dinners I would have probably starved! Odd to say but I actually liked school dinners ... except for the fish and chips on Fridays. My passion for cooking started in the early 70's living in London and the in thing was Indian food. I got pretty good at it with lots of tips from our Indian neighbors. Cooking is now my passion and my therapy. I went through a vegetarian phase early on which was pretty tough going as I didn't like eggs and the only thing most people could come up with was omelet. Fortunately lasagne came along! Through jobs I ended up working in California, meeting husband #2 (keeps him on his toes :-), and moved to TX 6 years ago.
