I wish to thank everyone who has reviewed and tried my recipes. I appreciate any helpful hints provided. I have been collecting recipes since 1965. In 1987 I started going through my many books and clippings and making weekly menus. If I like the new recipes I try, I enter them in my own cookbook. I have tried a number of times to quit eating meat. I have cut down, but not completely. I have been learning to cook gluten free as our daughter has Celiac Disease. We live on the Southeastern High Plains of Colorado on 23 acres about 2 hours from Denver. My husband and I still have our burro (Spunky Melissa), our llama (Chile), our goat (Pieper), and 12 cats that keep us very much entertained. We are currently installing an IKEA kitchen in our upstairs. This was started 3 years ago (my husband's favorite comment is I have the rest of my life to finish this. ).
