I am a mother of two, girl - 10 and boy - 7. I have loved cooking since I was about 10. I was blessed with having my mom, my dad and my granny as teachers. I have lived all over the world, but my southern roots are strong. Everything growing up involved food. So food is a big part of all our family traditions. I work full-time as a BMET and I am also in the Army Reserves. So I love to cook traditional recipes, but usually look for shortcuts and quick meals to fit our busy schedules.
