I am currently on extended leave for relocation, and this has given me the time and my new home has given me the inspiration to work on my cooking skills. I have learned that I enjoy making bread by hand, canning my own vegetables and jams, and I can come up with an impromptu dinner, things I never thought I'd enjoy. I don't have a favorite cook book, or recipe, and I love experimenting with recipes to add my own personal touches.
