I am a keen amatuer cook who will try anything once. Love trying out new recipes and using my other half as a guniea pig. I adore chinese food and travel to Thailand & Malaysia regularly picking up hints and tips on Thai and Malay cooking. I hate TV chefs that treat you like you are an idiot and try to teach you how to peel a spud although I know people have to learn. My favourite chef at present is Anthony Bourdain. His book Kitchen Confidential is a brilliant lid lifter on restaurant cooking.
