I live in Santa Barbara, CA since I was a child but my family moved from Virginia when I was six. I am 5 minutes from the ocean and 15 minutes from our mountains. I grew up on my Mom's Southern cooking so I learned to cook southern too. I took cooking classes in school so I feel at home in the kitchen. My pet peeves are people who abuse any animal and treat our planet like a garbage can.
