Married with three grown sons. My husband, Wayne, and I are partners with our three sons in a family business. We are so proud of our sons and are most likely guilty of not telling them often enough. When not at work (not often) we like to garden. Since our gardening season is so short up north we've had to have another interest. You guessed it, food. I love the "Best of Bridge" ladies, have yet to prepare something from their books that doesn't work out. But I love to read all sorts of recipes, and experiment. I have a small collection of old cookbooks, enjoy all the old language, measurements, and ideas that can be found in these old books. Anyone ever needs to know how to "treat a felon", there are good instructions in the White House Cookbook, 1905 edition. One day I'll share! For the first time ever I measured flour by weight, thanks Alton Brown, and I'll do it this way forever!
