I lived in Golden Meadow, LA (down the Bayou)until I was three my family moved to Houma, LA. a metropolis in comparison! Then when I was eleven my Dad decided we should move to New Orleans, mainly so I didn't end up as the wife of a swamp residing trapper- I still say they were predjudiced. I was lucky enough to have three great children whose names I will withhold to protect the innocent. Nobodyin my family lives down the bayounow, but I have to go fishing in Reserve or Golden Meadow or Grand Isle once every twenty years. Not like it used to be 60 years ago but still wonderful.
