I work in IT. Enough said I think – food is so much more interesting. I learnt to cook working in pub kitchens when I was a teenager; we made pretty much everything from scratch. I still tend to cook in the same quantities and freeze down - our freezers are full of re-filled take away tubs. I love making stews, curries, pizza, pasta, experimenting with burger/meatball mixes and seeing what else I can feed into the bread-maker. When not at work, bumbling in the kitchen or spending quality time with the family, I like to cycle. I’ve completed London to Paris 3 times for Action Medical Research, all of which were fantastic. On one of these trips I towed the Charity's mascot, Paddington, the 300 miles to Paris. I also used to organise 100 mile sponsored rides for them.
