I'm a Bulgarian married to an Englishman and living in the UK. Currently a full time mum and a part time mature student. I love travelling around Europe and sampling different local foods. It gives me inspiration. Today's western society is so taken with career/money chasing that people don't pay attention to simple pleasures like food. They look at it as something that stuffs your stomach and stops you from being hungry, no matter what it is. There is so much more to it - it's art. Nowadays people don't have any product knowledge - ask an average man to pick out an aubergine out of a pile of different fruit and veg and he'll fail. BUT a lot of them know the McDonalds menu by heart - sad, ah? I think we should go back to being bohemians and eat beautiful food and drink beautiful wine.
