I love to cook. I love to browse through old recipe books. Especially from the "South". I am currently gathering old recipes to put in a cook book I am making for family and friends. I want recipes that our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, neighbors, etc used to cook. Recipes that our young people have no idea how to make. If you have a favorite recipe that came from an older relative or friend, feel free to pass it on to me at: firstname.lastname@example.org. I would love to have it and will acknowledge your name and the name of the relative or friend. I am thinking of naming the cook book "Recipes of our Ancestors". If you have a suggtestion, you can send me that, too. email@example.com I am disabled, so have plenty of time to spend with my nose in a cook book, or on the internet. I really enjoy cooking and love to see people eat and enjoy themselves. The thing I hate the most (pet peeve) is for someone to come to the stove while I am cooking and take pieces of what I am cooking before I am ready to serve it. AND, I do NOT want someone adding anything to my pot. Other than these two, I enjoy being in the kitchen and having company in the kitchen while I am cooking. Conversation and fellowship go hand in hand with a good cook.
