I enjoy cooking for my family and they enjoy eating. Four kids---two are out in the world on there own, 15YO girl (my best critic), 16YO boy. Why so close in years? We are a "blended family". I have been cooking since I was able to see the top of the counter. My Mother did a great job of getting me going early on. Grilling, barbecuing and camp cooking are my passion. I like my food spicy and flavorful. Southern dishes are a specialty, especially Gulf Coast Seafood and southern style beef dishes. When the grill or the smoker isn't hot, it's comfort food in the oven, crock pot, outside dutch oven or frying pan. My loving wife takes care of the desserts and the kids take care of the dishes.
