I'm a wife and mother to two wonderful teenage boys; I love good food and also cooking special treats to bring to holiday or church functions. My mother is Assyrian and I've learned to cook some wonderful things from her like stuffed grape leaf dolma and chada bread. My husbands family is from the South (Arkansas) and so I've learned to cook some Southern homestyle food as well. One of my favorite comfort meals is "Chicken Fried Steak w/Pan Style gravy, smashed taters, cornbread and collard greens. I guess my range of cooking is very different! Our whole family loves sweets and I like making cheesecakes or brownies when ever there's an occasion to... :)
