We live in central Wisconsin. The city is divided by the Wisconsin river. Lots of city parks, walkways by the river. It is a beautiful city with lots of trees and large, lumber baron homes. I've worked for a national engraving/gift business as an assistant manager the last 12 years. This is my second marriage, and he is a wonderful man! Very supportive and loves to eat. I have a 23 yr old son from my first marriage who works full time and lives with us to save money. He loves my cooking and is also not afraid to say something doesn't cut it He likes to experiment in the kitchen as well. Love to read cookbooks, something my husband doesn't understand and have at least 200. Also enjoy gardening, knitting, sewing, photography, making my own cards and especially reading. Our dog child keeps us busy too. Love to spend time in the outdoors, traveling and learning new things. I am very curious and if I don't know about something, I have to find out the answer. My parents are in their 80's and we help them out alot with day to day things and around the house. My favorite cookbook has to be the old, 70's Pillsbury family cookbook with the yellow cover. My sister-in-law had one and I mentioned that it is a great one, said she never used it and gave it to me. I now have a back-up copy since it is no longer in print. Mine is pretty worn and with lots of notes. But it is the standby when all else fails!
