Adriana in Mexico City
@Adriana in Mexico C
I was born in the U.S. and raised in Mexico City since I was 5 months old. My father was American, my mom is Mexican. I grew up in touch with both cultures, enjoying the best of each. I still live in Mexico City. I'm married to a wonderful Mexican man that is better than any dream come true. We are very close: romantic and loving to each other all the time. We are also best friends. He enjoys my cooking and is generous with praise. I work in the largest comunication company in Latin America and have a very demanding schedule. I work close from home but I still leave for work at 8:30 in the morning and return home at 8:30 pm if I'm lucky. I've worked until 11 pm and once in a while I've had to come in on a Saturday or Sunday. This does not leave much time for cooking, so it's a treat when I can do it. Every weekend I enjoy my singing and composition classes (I already wrote a song to my husband), a full body massage, lunch with my mom, wash clothers, do house chores and still find the way to give myself introspection time and enjoy my hubby. I also enjoy crafting with beads and have painted in watercolor, enjoy music, dancing and gardening. When entertaining I love setting a beatuful table with original place cards that the guests can take home and a color scheme that "pulls the whole thing together". I love to include candles and flowers. My husband is an architect and we both enjoy antiques, decoration and interior designing, old time furniture and accesories. We also enjoy a visit to the country side, a movie or an ocassional play. We are "Christmas Freaks" and when the season arrives we are ready with a fully decorated house to have breakfast lunch and dinner to entertain our friends and relatives in small groups... so it's really a full time party! If I had a month off we'd probably take off and do some travelling. If Ramón could'nt come with me due to work I'd probably stay at home and take some scrap booking course, do bead crafts, study Neuro linguistic programming and paint again. Maybe fix up a couple of antique pieces of furniture or update my fileing at home. And cook! Oh boy, I'd cook!
