Mom, with ADD, and son too. I've a hypoglcemic husband, and another teenager. We have recently (4.01.09, no joke really) dropped refined sugar, refined carbs ie. all white flour, potatoes, and caffiene. Whoa! Since I was at a low caffine intake at the moment it was actually much easier than I guessed it would be. One successful month later, and after a car full of food was donated to some less fussy folk,,, we are searching for more ways to eat well.
