I was with my partner for over 3 1/2 years before I had the nerve to cook for him. I got a piece of "cooking software" called SousChef in a bundle, and it sounded like fun. I figured I could try out the software and end up with homemade dinner in the process. If it flopped, or he hated my cooking, I'd find consolation in knowing the software was practically free. Dinner turned out great, and he raved about the beef stew. And so a cook was born. I've been cooking for about a month, trying new things and loving every minute of it. I have cooked a lot before, but it was always a chore because my ex-husband was such a picky eater. Now it's so much fun!
