Love to cook, always looking for something new to try. Challenge is cooking healthy, especially for my health-nut son who doesn't want ANY added fat in ANY recipe! Also, I have terrible heartburn issues and can no longer eat some of the most flavorful things: absolutely no onion, garlic, citrus juices, any kind of pepper (veg or spice), mint, ginger and no cooked tomato or ready made sauces with tomato in them, like ketchup. And, of course, no chocolate! This makes it really hard to get flavor into my dishes. The only vinegar I can use is rice vinegar, and then only in the smallest amounts & I can use the mildest mustard in minute amounts. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!
