I am a housewife living in the heart of the Mission in San Francisco - I spend my days walking to the market, picking out what's in season, packing it tightly in my old faithful canvas sack and head home to bake and cook for my wonderful Hubby. Most women my age work, and think I am a kook for chosing to stay home and look after my Man. He has no complaints so that makes me happy, plus I think people are envious that I can make home and dream up some delicious recipe ideas. Originally from the UK my specialities are Yorkshire Pudding with a roast of some description however I recently accepted the different, infact quite crazy pallet of you North Americans and actually love to eat maple syrup on my bacon these days! Just started baking and am intetested in substituting some of these cups of room temp butter for some healthy alternatives so watch this space.
