I was raised by a single mom and have been cooking since the age of 14 to help out my family since my mother was a horrible (yes, even she'd agree) cook. I am originally from California and have worked in the hotel/ food industry for 5 years. I moved to New England a year ago and have enjoyed exploring the foods of the East Coast. I like to cook but my absolute passion is baking. I have a six month old daughter so trying to find the time to cook is tough but I force myself because it is what I like to do best. I have a cookbook collection that I continue to add to.
