I moved back to Cheyenne (my hometown where my family still lives) in 2008 when I turned 40 after being gone for 22 years, and I love Wyoming! The only "problem" is we lack good restaurants (especially ethnic), which means I cook a lot for myself. BUT I love to cook and create recipes, and I'm not bad. The good news is when I have a cooking disaster (seldom), I only have to answer to my cat, Simon, since I live by myself. Then dinner usually becomes a giant bowl of oatmeal -nicely matched with a light beer! Does anyone else do this??? My son is in his second year of college in Gunnison, Colorado, and I miss him tons. He is also an excellent cook, and we enjoy preparing meals together when he's here. His specialties are Thai food, enchiladas and pasta. We both enjoy music and the outdoors: skiing, hiking, biking, camping and fishing. I also spend time volunteering for the homeless community (often preparing part of a meal), for an environmental group and for other community events like our annual AIDS Walk. I'm an avid reader of all types of literature and occasionally enjoy our excellent Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra. I live in an old neighborhood and take many long walks around my community. I see my parents often, and both are still quite active. My brother also lives here. I have an awesome family! I love Recipezaar and am amazed when I search for a novel ingredient how many other people enjoy cooking with it. It has been a fantastic resource for many great new recipes
