Once your oven has pre-heated for 15 minutes, place the prepared potatoes directly on your oven's middle rack. Keep them naked — no aluminum foil needed!
Bake them for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on the size of your potatoes. You'll know the potatoes are done when the skin is golden brown and crispy, and they feel soft when pressed.
NO-MESS BAKING TIP:
Place a cookie sheet, baking pan or strip of aluminum foil on a lower rack or on the bottom of the oven to catch any drippings.
