    Fail #1: Overcooking a Still-Frozen Bird

    "My Thanksgiving failure was when I didn't allow enough time for the turkey to thaw. When it came time to cook the still-frozen bird, I decided that cranking the oven to 500 degrees would surely cook the bird — not so much! The outside of the turkey was burnt and the inside was still raw!"
