Delicious recipe! (Delicious to taste every step along the way too!) I did alter a few things -- upped the cocoa to 1/2 c, used 3/4 each of brown and white sugar, and only 1/2 c. water. You really have to mix thoroughly at each step. For best results, cool your chocolate mixture to almost room temp before mixing in, about 3/4 cup at a time - I moved it out of the pot to a large measuring cup for ease of adding and to be sure it didn't stay too warm. Still a cakey brownie, but a little more dense with less water, I think.
so, I have a question... I'm currently making vinegar out of orange peels (started about a week ago) and I started a jar of pineapple vinegar yesterday. Could I use, say for example, the mother from the orange peels one to get a batch of pineapple or something else besides orange going? or does it have to be mother from the same fruit?
I'm sensitive to Garlic so I substituted my homemade Onion & Garlic oil and left out the garlic.
