Here are three ways to achieve this dastardly deed. I prefer rum over vodka for this but champagne is nice too especially with the open and honest method. UPDATE: I tried this recently with Vanilla Vodka and OMG! It was FAB!

BUT FIRST- Rinse the whole melon to remove any dirt or icky stuff that might be on the skin- seen or unseen! ewwww!!!! I never used to do this part until I saw a large dog "marking" the watermelons! EWWWWWWW! NOW I wash them VERY WELL! ugh!

Now all that is left to do is to choose which method you would like to use!

Cooking time does not include the hours of cooling.

Have a great time!

Watermelon Crawl- Aka Spiked Watermelon

Rating: 6

Created: Apr 11, 2006 1:44:33 PM

Food.com

Easy Low Fat Oven Roasted Peppered Potato Wedges

This is my Dad's recipe!!! Brilliant low fat & EASY roasted potato wedges with freshly ground black pepper and olive oil. I have also added garlic, lemon wedges, fresh thyme, fresh rosemary, cumin, chilli.......the list is endless! I have posted the basic recipe and it is obviously easy to add whatever you like, depending on the mood, season & type of meal you are serving. For example, rosemary is great with lamb dishes; thyme and oregano marries wonderfully with Italian & French cuisine; garlic and lemons are GREAT with roast chicken. The basic peppered recipe is still my favourite though - I use fleur de sel (local sea salt) in mine - but any coarse salt will be fine. I have given measurements for about 4 people......it is easily adapted up or down however!

Easy Low Fat Oven Roasted Peppered Potato Wedges

Rating: 68

Created: Nov 1, 2006 7:59:08 PM

Food.com

Chocolate Peppermint Bark - Christmas

Christmas candy - Two kinds of chocolate with peppermint chips.
