Yummy variation of fried rice. Steamed rice gets crunchy when waffled. This is great for cleaning out your fridge while having the kids eat some veggies. If your kids don't eat veggies, try processing them so they can't pick them out. You can easily substitute the meat with beans for vegetarians. Suggestions for veggies - broccoli, green onions, peas, asparagus, peppers, carrots, corns, onion, mushrooms, cauliflower, etc. Suggestions for meat - chicken, ground beef, ground turkey, bacon, sausage, SPAM, black beans, etc. Mine love this w/ ketchup for an afterschool snack.

According to msn.com, Kimchi is one of the '10 top healthy food you should eat but don't.' Tofu pizza dough with kimchi and bacon topping - as bizarr as it sounds, the ingredients are surprisingly complementary to each other. (I usually don't put in bacon.) If you are not too fond of kimchi try some other toppings, but at the least, try the dough. It is very healthy.

I really loved my friend's lemon chicken pasta recipe. Unfortunately, the only ingredients I had from her recipe was chicken & pasta. So I substituted most of the ingredients. Surprisingly, it was simply great and everyone liked this one more than the original. I make this over the summer months and this is definitely our favorite pasta recipe. My sister-in-law likes it so much that every time she has a dinner party, she makes this. Everyone who tries it asks for the recipe.
