My ancestors on both sides are from Denmark, but the only recipe that made it through the generations was dumplings. My dad's side had a recipe and my mom's side had a recipe, but even my dad's grandmother admitted that my mom's family dumplings were better than her family's. There's nothing more comforting than a hot bowl of chicken soup and these dumplings.
This is a warm, spicy, cheesy dip that goes great with tortilla chips, crackers, or spread on sandwiches. Our family jokes that it's so good and addicting, you could spread it on just about anything and eat it!
This recipe was my favorite at a church chili cook-off, so I asked for the recipe. I'm not sure who the creator is, but I will credit the cook, Karen Cheney. An absolutely delicious, spicy, and creamy take on chili.
This recipe comes from Ali Rich and has become a family favorite. The dough is tender, buttery, and makes not only delicious rolls, but breadsticks, pizza dough, and cinnamon rolls! It's the perfect, all-around dough!
This recipe was given to me by Katie B. and has become a requested family and friend favorite for gatherings. This is NOT the light version, so be prepared with a glass of milk and to do some extra exercise to work off these calories! But they are so worth it!
