Made this year as part of the Christmas cookies we give away. Want to remember this one so I am posting it.

    Recipe #444494

My husband says this is the best chili he ever tasted. It is spicy.

    Recipe #417374

I can't have dairy items, but miss ice cream and sherbet very much. I am making this as a substitite.

    Recipe #316278

This is the salad Loretta brings to all of our family gatherings. We always request her to bring this one no matter what the occasion. She came up with this after having lunch at Reed-N-Cross and having a broccoli salad she just loved. Now we all love it and look forward to her bringing it!

    Recipe #300229

This makes a beautiful cookie that can easily be removed from the pan for decoration. This recipe came with my Wilton Heart Shaped Cookie Pan, but can be used in a 13x9 shallow pan.

    Recipe #287204

This is the stuffing my brother-in-law really likes. Adapted from another recipe I found on the Zaar, I want to be able to duplicate it again. This will go well with chicken, pork, or fish.

    Recipe #260161

This is my favorite topping for meatloaf. It is good for basting before and during cooking and also for serving at the table for those who like more sauce.

    Recipe #258430

I am allergic to all dairy and miss ranch dressing so very much! Here is a version I came up with to satisfy my craving... Tastes almost like the real thing!

    Recipe #255308

Something I invented for a change of taste. I am hooked on this dressing right now! Very garlicky, full of flavor - turns a simple salad into a meal. Dip celery sticks into this for a very tasty snack.

    Recipe #253720

I changed the recipe from a bread machine recipe book I have to make it a little healthier and taste a little better for the kids. This makes one EXTRA LARGE loaf. This bread is GREAT with honey, or toasted and add peanut butter, or for peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Also, makes a good dessert when toasted, buttered, and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar! Try this sometime for breakfast when you are making french toast!!! :) Mmmmmmm....

    Recipe #234877

If you must live dairy-free and still love bagels here is something for you to try. I found this on a vegan website while looking for mock cream cheese to make smoked salmon spread with. I tried this and liked it! If you don't have cashew paste or cashew butter you can put about 1/2 cup of cashews in the food processor until they get like peanut butter... then measure out 3 1/2 Tbsp. for the recipe. Raw cashews would be better, but I used salted and roasted with no problem.

    Recipe #231173

If you must live dairy-free and miss having pudding you will most likely enjoy this recipe. I have been experimenting for the past two years on trying to hide the soy flavor in soy milk... I haven't been able to hide it totally, but it is pretty subtle in this recipe thanks to the banana. If you can have milk and enjoy tapioca the traditional way you probably will NOT like this recipe.

    Recipe #230585

This is the result of changes I had to make to a recipe I got from the Zaar. It was very good and I would like to be able to duplicate it again.

    Recipe #224815

My version of something I bought at the "health food" section of our nearest market. It is great on dry toasted very thin sliced breads including rye. It is also good on crackers. Spread this thin--it is not egg salad sandwich! Use it like you would if you were just putting a little butter or peanut butter or cream cheese on your toast. If you spread it too thick it will be too salty! You will only like this if you like jalepeno and garlic!

    Recipe #224460

This bread is the best banana bread I have ever made. I didn't have enough of the ingredients I needed for banana bread so I improvised and the outcome was wonderful! I have to post this one so I will remember how to make it again. Entire family loved it.

    Recipe #196292

My kids tried this at an open house at my hubby's Indian Tribe. They loved it and brought home the recipe.

    Recipe #196288

A 5 a day recipe from the National Cancer Institue. I tried this at an open-house at the Springfield Oregon outreach office of the Confederated Tribes Of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians. It was unbelievably delicious and simple, the kids also loved it!

    Recipe #194844

The kids love this! Got this recipe from the Oregon Nutrition Education Program. The kids all sampled it and said it was delicious. Super simple and inexpensive to make.

    Recipe #194843

Made these on the fourth of July for family, thought we might use them for sandwiches. We ended us serving them alone, and everyone loved them. They are sturdy enough to slice in half and serve sandwiches on.

    Recipe #177578

Delicious and easy to make. The whole family loved this one, especially the kids. Makes a very large loaf, about 1 1/2 pound.
