I never ate the dressing at Thanksgiving until I made this the first time! It's not to heavy and you can make it as moist or dry as you like. A big hit that I now make often, not just on holidays! Adapted from allrecipies.com
Absolutely my most requested recipe but it was really my mother's. This was my birthday cake every year growing up---still is! The cake is a fairly common recipe, it's the frosting that makes it amazing. Incredibly rich and wonderful! It's actually best if it's made the day before you are going to eat it and it just gets better every day!
This is adapted from a recipe in a Taste of Home Christmas cookbook. I make this often for my family and it's a great company dish. I usually serve it with mashed potatoes but it's also good with pasta or rice.
