    Nestle' Holiday Fudge
    Handle

I make this every Christmas. I haven't tried the substitutions yet although I've been tempted to try the semisweet morsels. Simple to make with delicious results. Time does not include chill time.

    Recipe #200999

    Select
    Mom Cantey's Fruit Cobbler
    Handle

This is the winner for Emerl's "comfort for the coast" contest. I'm posting it so I know where to find it when I decide to try it.

    Recipe #146519

    Select
    Washington Apple (Alcoholic Beverage)
    Handle

This is delicious. It tastes just like an apple. This would be great for an adult Halloween party. If you're "bobbing" for this kind of apple, beware of how many you bob; it could turn you into a bobble head!

    Recipe #109601

    Select
    Mexican Dip
    Handle

I think I got this recipe from the newspaper. I've made this many times for potluck to functions and it always goes fast. Serve with tortilla chips (I use Tostitos scoops).

    Recipe #96950

    Select
    Espresso Martini
    Handle

If you like coffee, you are going to love this martini. The vanilla vodka is a must but I've made many of them without the creme de cocoa.

    Recipe #96758

    Select
Steak Au Poivre with Wild Mushroom and Bourbon Sauce
    Handle

The classic Steak Au Poivre is heightened to a new level of grandeur with the pungent flavor of porcini mushrooms married with brandy and cream. You will turn heads with the showy spectacle of flames as the enticing aroma of brandy fills the air. This recipe comes from Food and Wine.

    Recipe #88126

    Select
    Shrimp and Pasta
    Handle

This is a recipe from a girlfriend of the past, Joanna, who is a great cook, and now owns her own restaurant. Irie, Jo!

    Recipe #85094

    Select
    Veal Marsala
    Handle

This is a recipe from Casa Rillo, my favorite Italian restaurant. Another way that Joey, the chef, would serve his Veal Marsala would be to add artichoke hearts, some sauteed prosciutto, and some sprinkled cheese on top. My mouth is starting to water (need to visit again soon)!

    Recipe #85090

    Select
    Kielbasa-vegetable Stir Fry
    Handle

I got this recipe from my sister. Omit the kielbasa and you've got a yummy vegetarian dish. Just add vegetables of your choice to the skillet in order of how long it takes them to cook.

    Recipe #85086

    Select
    Spicy Szechuan Pork Stew
    Handle

Warms you up on a cold winter's night. From the local paper.

    Recipe #84860

    Select
    Meatballs Espanol
    Handle

My DH loves this. I got this from my mil's church recipe book, submitted by Ann O.

    Recipe #84859

    Select
    Chicken Parmesan
    Handle

An easy and tasty way to make Chicken Parmesan. This is another recipe from my church recipe book, submitted by Joyce F.

    Recipe #84407

    Select
    Yummy beef and potato casserole
    Handle

My daughter gets so excited when she knows I'm making this. A comfort food to be enjoyed by young and old alike. It is known as Shepherd's Pie or to be more accurate, Cottage Pie. (Shepherd's Pie is made with ground lamb.) Recipe is from Country Cooking recipe book and submitted by Valerie Merrill. This dish really stays hot after removing from oven. I usually dish my DD's out before serving to give it a chance to cool off a bit.

    Recipe #84222

    Select
    Tasty taco pie
    Handle

Yum. Easy to make. It was too hot(spicy) for my daughter so next time I make it, I'll use plain Velvetta and DH can spice up his portion with Tabasco. This is a recipe from my church's recipe book, submitted by Cynthia Y-K. I thought, after the game was over(go figure), that this would've been a good dish to make for Super Bowl Sunday.

    Recipe #84220

    Select
Chicken saute with lemon dill and feta
    Handle

Another recipe from my church's recipe book, submitted by Nancy O. I really like the combination of the flavors.

    Recipe #84218

    Select
    Beef Brisket Bar-b-q
    Handle

From "Philadelphia, Main Line Classics" recipe book. I've made this many times; once for a party at the house. I made a 5 lb. brisket assuming that with everything else I was serving(I had set up a buffet), that amount would be sufficient. I ran out of brisket which wouldn't have been bad except that a guest that decided to wait to eat didn't get any and several guests raved about how good it was.I think those guests had several helpings which is the advantage of a buffet for the guests but in this case, a disadvantage for the host. lol

    Recipe #83788

    Select
    Outrageous Onions
    Handle

From my church recipe book, submitted by Terese E. The title says it all.

    Recipe #83782

    Select
    Chicken Veneziana
    Handle

A delicious Italian meal. This is from "Rillo's", a local Italian restaurant. My DH doesn't like snow peas, so I omit them. He loves prosciutto so I buy extra. This meal is great served with garlic bread.

    Recipe #83618

    Select
    Crab Cakes
    Handle

These are the best crab cakes I've ever eaten. I got the recipe from Cuisine magazine. Every time I make them I hear alot of oohs and ahhs and requests for the recipe. There's a local family-owned restaurant in town known for their crabcakes. My teenage niece said they were the only crabcakes she likes, until she tried these. These are even better.

    Recipe #81656

    Select
    Sesame Noodles
    Handle

My girlfriend was having a cookout and served these noodles cold. I couldn't stop eating them! Forget the main course I was already filled up on coconut shrimp and sesame noodles!
