This comes from the America's Test Kitchen book called Slow Cooker Revolution.I made a few changes because of what I had on hand and it tasted amazing!So flavorful without a lot of heat,not much heat actually,which is how I like it.So this is my version of their recipe,made to suit what I had on hand and the tastes I like.
This is from the America's Test Kitchen Family Baking Book.It is amazing!I made this today for breakfast with Vanilla Bean Maple Syrup.The recipe is so easy to follow and the directions and cooking times are perfect.I used 3 large Gravenstein apples and they were delicious in this.You could use granny smiths,braeburns etc.Instead of half and half that the original recipe calls for I used evaporated milk.I also omiited the salt since my butter was salted.The following recipe is mine,not the original.
There are a few recipes here for Peppermint Pinwheels but this exact one is not here so I thought I'd add it.It comes from Paula Deen.com.These were so easy to make and the dough is so great to work with.They look beautiful when they're done.She has them made as lollipops but I just made them as cookies,so I'll write it as she has it.I don't add salt as I always use salted butter.These cookies have a great peppermint taste without being overpowering.

This is an Emeril Lagasse recipe I found on the Food Network site.I wanted to do something different with some fresh cod that I had.This is,honestly the best baked fish recipe I have ever tried.I have just printed off a load of copies for friends.It is so tasty with ingredients that most people already have in their cupboard.
I used the 2 tbsp of butter that the recipe called for but it could easily be reduced to even just 2 tsp.
This is another great recipe from Paula Deen's magazine,Holiday Baking 2010.Easy to make and very easy to eat :)
I omitted the peanuts and toffee bits,didn't have any on hand.I also used creamy peanut butter.
This great recipe comes from the book A Passion For Baking by Marcy Goldman.These come together so easily and are so tender.I also added about 1/2 cup chopped green onion.
An added note in the book she says if you want to turn these into shortcake biscuits just increase the sugar to 1/3 cup and use 6 tbsp butter.I'm going to try that and add some raisins too to make raisin buns.

I didn't have buttermilk,I used 1 1/4 cup milk with 1 tbsp lemon juice.Don't let the number of steps turn you away from the recipe,you'll regret it! :)

I don't know where I got this recipe but I've had it for years and am just now trying it.I'm very glad I did!It's so simple,throw it all in one bowl and it's done.I was skeptical about the absence of flour but I guess the graham crumbs acts as a flour.There is an icing with the recipe but I did not make that.I used another one that I had left over.It doesn't even need the icing,it's good on its own.
This is from Paula Deen's magazine called Holiday Baking from 2007.It is amazing!I love the store bought cakes that have the buttercream icing and this is just like it,plus an added bonus of ganache over the top.This will be my new birthday cake to make every year!

I just made this recipe tonight for supper and thought I'd share it.It is from the Spring 2010 edition of Kraft's What's Cooking magazine.
I used a combination of red,yellow and orange bell peppers that I had frozen.Corn would also be a good addition.The recipe calls for Kraft's 4 Cheese Italiano but I used a combination of cheddar,mozza and fresh parmesan.I also added a tsp of onion flakes.You can also substitute the white rice for brown.
It is a very fast tasty meal with leftovers for tomorrow.
This recipe is from a Canadian show called Best Recipes Ever.I have never tried leeks but thought this was a good way to try them.I'm very glad I did.Leeks have a similar taste as a green onion.I halved the recipe to make it into 2 servings.

It says to add the flax seed at the end but I put it in before I bake it,either way is fine.I omitted the salt and added vanilla extract along with the almond extract.I usually half this recipe and make 4 cups instead of 8.I use a combination of sunflower seeds,almonds and walnuts.

You can substitute chocolate chips for the raisins or craisins.You can pretty much add what you like.These make alot of cookies,6 dozen.You can easily half this recipe.

I found this recipe on allrecipes.com and had to put it here because it is just so good!I'm not a big fan of green beans so I subbed them for frozen corn and peas instead.This is a great dish for leftovers the next day also.I added about 1/2 cup of water to the soup to spread it a bit farther.

This is from a Company's Coming Christmas Celebrations cookbook that I bought for myself at the after Christmas sales.I am drinking this right now,it is scrumptious!There are a few others recipes here similiar to this but not exact so I thought I would post this one too.
I divided all ingredients in half and got 2 cups of lattes.I used about 1 tsp of Baileys Irish Cream Caramel Flavor in mine.I also omitted the nutmeg,not a big fan of it.For the coffee I used instant.3 tsp into hot water.
