This recipe makes a small batch of dense, fudge-like and very peanut buttery cookies, but much lower in calories for those of us who try to be careful. I have always loved peanut butter, but I can't get on board with how greasy most peanut butter cookies are. As this recipe does not use butter, the cookies come out much less greasy, but without being dry. This will not produce a classic peanut butter cookie, so if that's what you're after, you'll come away disappointed. But it does make a very nice, thick-textured sweet treat for peanut butter lovers.

A quick, easy way to use up your sourdough discard, which I always hate to throw out. I got this from the King Arthur website and we love it. You can use proper English muffin rings or clean tuna cans with the bottoms cut out.

I fumbled this together the other day while trying to ease my conscience over some oven donuts I had just made. I really wanted a rich chocolate icing for them, but just couldn't bring myself to break out the heavy cream and double boiler. This is simple, but so dark and decadent tasting that I sat and ate a fair amount with a spoon. Enjoy!

Bags of fresh cranberries bought on sale last winter, now kicking around the freezer? Check! Insatiable craving for frozen desserts now that the hot weather has started? Check! This is seriously good sorbet. Adjust sugar to taste, and see the note about substitutions.
