Taken from "Crazy Plates" cookbook. Sneaky way to get some vegetable into your diet. Who can say no to chocolate?? UPDATE: I made this again today, for dessert. I served it like a cake/brownie with mocha ice cream. Yummy!
I love these tender chicken pieces in fragrant coconut curry gravy. When served with hot coconut rice and fried anchovies, it's called Nasi Lemak. (Check out my recipe for the rice). I'd like to think this is lower in fat than those restaurant ones. Eat the leftover with crusty French bread. Yum...
A perfect dessert for an Oriental meal. Sometimes i just drink it as a snack. Very fragrant due to the coconut milk. I've even poured it into a popsicle mold and ended up with a sweet bean popsicle! Refreshing and low in fat (without the coconut, anyway *grin*)!
something different, instead of the usual chicken/pork/beef. You may substitute it with other meat, although frog legs are certainly more tender than others. i love the ginger-y taste of the gravy. Prep time includes marinating.
This is an Asian way of having macaroni (we've never heard of mac and cheese!). Much lower in fat, much healthier! i came up with this when i was down with flu, and wanted something soup-y, healthy, yet totally delicious. Feel free to substitute chicken with shrimps/pork fillet
A wonderful and easy way to cook a 1-plate meal for two! It incorporates both Chinese and Malaysian style of cooking. The crispy anchovies are REALLY good! It will be waaay more yummy if you add some meat e.g. diced chicken, pork or shrimps.
