I am Torgo. When The Master told me we were becoming vegan, I said it was an abomination. He then reminded me, "You're the abomination, goat boy!" Since he doesn't yet want to give up his favorite comfort foods (and comfort wives), I concocted this simple fake lasagna. It makes 2 large portions if only accompanied with bread, or 4 small portions if 2 hapless guests dine with you and your The Master. You'll find Torgotta Cheese with my other recipes.

    Recipe #389420

I am Torgo. The Master's unnatural vegan bender has forced me to become more creative. This recipe is great for Torgogna (see my other recipes) but could work wherever ricotta desires abound.

    Recipe #389161

I am Torgo. Not long ago, The Master asked for some macaroni & cheese and I made the boxed stuff. "By Manos," he said, "I'll have your hand for this!" Big mistake. I quelled his anger by whipping this up on the fly. This makes a nice-sized bowl for one, or two servings with other edibles.

    Recipe #320834

I am Torgo. This is The Master's preferred topping on my Torgo Pancakes for One. This makes one serving. (updated 8/20: water unnecessary when using frozen blueberries)

    Recipe #320292

I am Torgo. Whenever The Master returns, he desires these healthy and fluffy pancakes smothered in my blueberry-maple topping (see my other recipes). This recipe makes 2-3 pancakes. Quintuple the dry ingredients and store until you need it. Use a rounded 3/4 cup of mix (more exactly: 3/4 cups + 1.5 Tablespoons) per 3 pancakes. NOTE - The Master also likes the vegan version of this recipe in which you substitute for the egg the following: 1/2 a banana (very ripe) mashed together with 1/4 tsp of baking powder. Mix the mash in with the liquids and make a homogeneous solution before adding to dries.(updated 9/18/09)

    Recipe #319940

I am Torgo. When The Master sent me off to live in a halfway house for a while, my housemates loved this concoction the best. Their fellowship helped me become the Torgo I am today and I name this soup for them. (UPDATED 10/1/09: reduced cumin from 2 tsp to 1).

    Recipe #319020

I am Torgo. After working out, The Master likes to drink this nutritious beverage. A juicer and a blender are required.

    Recipe #318950

I am Torgo. The Master loves my version of General Tsu's (or Tso's or Tsao's or Zhao's or Dzoo'z) stir-fry sauce. It goes great with stir-fry chicken, stir-fry vegetables, or whatever your desire.

    Recipe #318840

I am Torgo. Sometimes the Master wants something simple. This can be used as a side or a meal in itself. The peas and mushrooms are drained, rinsed and put in new water in order to cut salt intake.

    Recipe #318671

I am Torgo. The Master loves this very special concoction. Because of his high blood pressure, I must rinse any canned vegetables before putting them in the crock pot. I use a meat-substitute but if you wish you may use a meat-substitute substitute...like meat.
