This makes a wonderful side to a prime rib roast, or even stew

    Recipe #271032

You may use as many meatballs as you wish for the recipe whatever you don't use just freeze for another time, my recipe#69173 will work great for this, all sauce amounts may be adjusted to taste --- serve with cooked rice :)

    Recipe #270654

Please note I have not tried this as yet and I really prefer posting recipes that I try firstly but this was submitted for a request on the boards. I am not claiming it to be the *real* Starbuck's gingerbread, but it may be very close. There was no mention as to what size pan to bake it in so use your own judgment. I assume by the amount of ingredients an 8x8, 9x9 or an 11x7-inch pan would work fine.

    Recipe #270522

You will be surprised at how easy and delicious this fudge is and it sets to the perfect texture! --- if you prefer a less sweeter taste then remove 2 tablespoons of white sugar after measuring the 1-2/3 cups --- evaporated milk may be replaced for the cream, using good-quality chocolate chips for this will only improve the flavor--- for easy removal from the pan, line pan with a large piece of foil overlapping on both sides, to remove the fudge lift up foil, remove foil from bottom of the fudge then place the block of fudge onto a flat surface and slice into small squares, or you may slice the fudge in the pan --- you will love this fudge!

    Recipe #270307

If using sweetened pineapple juice you might to reduce the sugar slightly, this make a huge amount but may be reduced :)

    Recipe #269434

Perfect biscotti made with a cake mix, if desired drizzle with a white chocolate glaze after the cookies are cooled, melt a 10-ounce bag of white chocolate chips with 2 teaspoon shortening, mix until smooth then drizzle over each cookie.

    Recipe #269357

This wonderful recipe was featured during Paula's recent television appearance on Oprah's show --- I made it recently but added in 2 scant teaspoons fresh minced garlic and Tabasco, I also increased the nuts for the outside of the ball, this may be made up to 24 hours in advance, try this, you will love it! :)

    Recipe #269306

A wonderful thick rich eggnog without the sugar and fat, adjust the sugar substitute to taste, this may easily be doubled

    Recipe #269218

Coloured sugar, sprinkles, grated coconut or crushed candy canes may be sprinkled on right after dipping into the chocolate, have fun and use your imagination to decorate the coated pretzels, it's a fun holiday project for children of all ages! :)

    Recipe #268554

Plan ahead the liver needs to sit in the milk for 2 hours before cooking to remove any bitter or sharp taste, this is a critical step so do not omit! --- fry the onions while the liver sits in the milk, use as many onions as you desire, I use 3 three jumbo onions, since my family loves spicy I also add in some cayenne pepper to the flour mixture --- the trick to perfect liver is not to overcook and leave only slightly pink in the middle, you may increase or double this recipe --- serve with mashed potatoes or fries :)

    Recipe #268528

So simple to make and so delicious, this fudge sets to the perfect texture without a candy thermometer, if you prefer a less sweeter fudge then reduce the confectioners sugar down a few tablespoons, full-fat milk may be replaced for the half and half cream but the fudge will not be as creamy --- I have made this fudge a number of times, you will *love* it!

    Recipe #268411

Crispy, buttery and so delicious! -- plan ahead the dough needs to chill for a minimum of 3 hours or up to 3 days --- the success of this cookie will depend on the quality of butter that you use so purchase the best! Since the dough is very thick I suggest to use a stand mixer for mixing --- for *CHRISTMAS* coat in coloured sugar, also haven't tried it as yet but I plan on adding in some finely chopped candied maraschino cherries or dried fruit to the cookie batter for Christmas, so you might want to give that a try! --- servings is only estimated.

    Recipe #268339

Fettuccini also works well for this dish, use only firm Roma plum tomatoes or the creamed sauce will become too watery --- if desired serve with recipe#105726 :)

    Recipe #268158

Don't toss out your turkey carcass make soup! --- this can also be made using a carcass from a large roasting chicken --- the carcass takes about an hour to cook so start this early, and do not remove any meat that was left on the bones, you will *love* this soup! :)

    Recipe #267620

This is an easy recipe that produces a large amount of wonderful rich gravy, for even more flavor you may use chicken broth mixed with turkey drippings to equal 5 cups, if you are using both then omit the bouillon powder --- also see my recipe #145064

    Recipe #266958

This recipe was tested and developed using converted white rice, I cannot promise the same results using a different rice. This complete recipe may be doubled and for a firmer rice reduce the broth slightly.

    Recipe #266540

This will harden and it will hardens quite quickly, it's the perfect icing to decorate cookies, if desired you may omit the vanilla, I like to add it in, the amounts may be reduced by half if desired.

    Recipe #266529

A perfect side dish to your holiday meal, even people who hate spinach will love this dish! --- this should serve 8 people depending on the size of the portions -- the complete recipe may be made up to 24 hours in advance, cover and refrigerate, allow to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before baking --- if you prefer a milder spinach flavor then boil the spinach in water for about 8 minutes before using in the recipe.

    Recipe #266343

This makes an easy weeknight meal, I prefer this over spaghetti but any pasta will do, it's also a great way to use up any leftover chicken or turkey, it makes enough for 3 hefty servings or four small servings, you may easily double it, throw in some canned corn niblets or frozen peas also if desired --- I make this using about half of one 200-gram package fresh whole mushrooms that I slice and then saute in the butter firstly, but canned will do fine, I prefer the fresh! --- lower the fat by using reduced fat soup and sour cream, this is *really* good! :)

    Recipe #266236

The perfect salad to serve at you holiday dinner table --- if desired place slices of red onion rings around the sides of the bowl --- the salad mixture may be mixed, covered tightly with plastic wrap hours ahead but do not toss in the apples until before serving or they tend to discolour, also do not add in the dressing until serving time, if you are serving more than 8 people double the recipe :)
