This is a great protein filled vegetarian dish. It would also make a lovely side dish by reducing the portions. This recipe is from a "Cooking Light" magazine. I also highly reccomend that you do use fresh parmesan and not the stuff found in a can. If you don't have any fresh at hand, some shredded mozzarella would work fine as well.

    Recipe #131542

one of my favorite dishes when in jamaica. and this from someone who doesn't normally like hot cereals.

    Recipe #119023

This was a favorite in the hostel that I lived in and we were lucky enough to have the real stuff in Indonesia. You can just buy the 20cent ramen packets and not use the flavorings. That works just fine, and I recommend the eggs more than the tofu... but whatever floats your boat.

    Recipe #101592

This is a Mexican dish that is basically a hot diluted guacamole. Be careful not to cook..merely to heat through.

    Recipe #101393

these arn't really much like meatballs except in looks. they are light and fluffy and best served immediately from the oven. the mixture can be made up to a day in advance.

    Recipe #101195

a nice alternative to fried chicken fingers. great for summer. i make this for my little sister/

    Recipe #93391

This cake stays moist for at least a week and is perfect for sending in a lunch box. This recipe is great plain, but feel free to add your own icing or chocolate glaze. These would also be great made into cupcakes for a child's birthday party.

    Recipe #92846

Brownies with a kick! These are quick to prepare and i find that the coffee and chocolate enhance each other.

    Recipe #90062

i fell in love with curry when i was in japan. ha! here is a great meat-less version.

    Recipe #90061

A great non mayo pasta salad that's a little more posh than the norm. Especially nice if you are a fan of sun-dried tomatoes and fresh mozzarella.

    Recipe #89989

This is something great if you are getting sick of plain old salad and need to liven it up a bit. I found this in a Pampered Chef cookbook. My mom served it to her bookclub friends who are all on weightwatchers and they loved it. Great for a light summer meal.

    Recipe #89976

This is a great cool summer recipe. I imagine that it would be great for a picnic especially since there is no mayo or anything to worry about. Also great after a day at the beach or pool. And to top it all off its vegan friendly! WooHoo! Pull out your chopsticks.

    Recipe #89193

Easier because its made in a pan and not individual. This creme caramel can be refrigerated overnight as well.

    Recipe #89191

The great thing about it is that these noodles are just as good room temperature. This is a great recipe for a busy mom who doesn't have time to eat after she has cooked or for taking to work with you for lunch.

    Recipe #89188

This is one of the things we made and sold at the specialty grocery/cafe' that I worked at. These brownies are rich and moist and a great treat for mint lovers. They have to be pretty good to sell for two dollars a brownie! (prep time includes refrigeration)

    Recipe #71616

My parents worked on a Cracker Barrel training video (which they use to train the chefs) and got this recipe a few years ago. Cracker Barrel's recipe seems to have changed a bit over these few years but not for the best. This is their recipe though and has become a family favorite. We usually have it now for Easter and Thanksgiving and its also great for a brunch. Happy Cooking!

    Recipe #70239

A great summer dish...especially when you have an abundance of fresh tomatos around. Definately try to use fresh mozzarella, it is completely different from the prepackaged store kind.

    Recipe #70219

I got this recipe from a heart healthy cooking school that I attended. It's very easy and when done right one serving has only 80 calories and 0.6 grams of fat.

    Recipe #69920

Not only is this cake super easy to make you can impress all of your vegan friends. Very elegant looking with the chocolate glaze and dipped strawberries. es muy bien! (cooking and prep times do not include cooling and drying)

    Recipe #69917

definitely make this if you want to impress someone. not too hard to make - most of the instructions are about folding and cutting the dough. the center is a quick- no cook creamy filling.
