This recipe is from my favourite Food Network Canada chef, Anna Olson. She says that the elderflower cordial can be found in the water section of the grocery store. If it is unavailable, subsitute with blackcurrant cordial or fresh raspberry sauce (or just increase the lemon juice) I have not tried this recipe, but I do hope you enjoy! Please note that the cook time and size of the puff pastry package are guestimates!
I found this recipe on another website, but credit there was given to Kraft General Foods Canada Inc. These are a yummy variation on the classic Nanaimo Bar! I am guessing about prep and cooking (cooling) times.
I got this recipe from the Fall 2004 What's Cooking magazine by Kraft. The chicken stays nice and moist and is quite flavourful! I modified it ever so slightly, which I will add as I post the original. Hope you enjoy!
We were recently in PA and I picked up a box of Grape Nuts Cereal at Wegmans. It was MUCH cheaper than back here at home! I have wanted to make muffins using Grape Nuts for a long time, and am glad I found this one on the kraftfoods.com website!
I got this recipe from the cookbook Fat Free Living Cookbook from Around the World by Jyl Steinback. It has a lot of small steps, but is well worth it! I did make one substitution, using chipotle peppers instead of diced green chilis, but it was still excellent!! I hope you enjoy as much as we did! 44 Calories and less than 1g fat per chimi.
