A great variation on an American Favorite! It caught my eye immediately when I saw it in the April/May 2010 edition of Cook's Country Magazine. I have taken it to a couple of potlucks and it always gets great reviews. Yum..... : )
This is a hearty meal served over rice. It's easy and you can put it in the crock pot in the morning and just let it sit until dinner time! This is great served with a warm loaf of french bread and butter.
We had used a can of pizza sauce every Friday night (Pizza Night), until one Friday about a year a ago when we realized that we were fresh out!
We came up with this and are sooo glad that we did! It tastes so much fresher than the sauce you get from a can!

Everyone in our home loves this soup. (Exept for my brother who doesn't like cooked green peppers.) This soup in INCREDIBLY easy and delicious! Even those who don't like stuffed peppers love this. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top if desired.
